Johnny Sins' real name is Steven Wolfe. He was born on December 31, 1978, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He's a rather shy teenager. He convinced his parents to buy him a computer so he could watch porn. After school, he does a few construction jobs. By the age of 24, he was balding and decided to shave his head.

In 2006, at the age of 28, he moved to Los Angeles and began his career in porn. He has over 2,500 videos to his credit, and has shot for major studios such as Brazzers (over 1,000 scenes) and Naughty America. He has shot with many porn stars such as Lisa Ann, Alexis Texas, Adriana Chechik or Abella Danger.

In 2015, Pornhub launched a crowdfunding campaign to produce the first X movie in space, in which he was to feature. The necessary budget was not reached and the project fell through. In early 2017, Sins and X-actress Kissa Sins (his wife at the time) launched their YouTube channel SinsTV, evoking their daily lives and distilling sexual advice. By November 2022, the channel had over two million subscribers.

In 2018, Johnny Sins received the award for Most Popular Male Performer by Women at the annual Pornhub Awards. Since 2020, the actor has stopped appearing in porn videos for studios but continues to produce content under his own entity. Johnny Sins now lives in Las Vegas. He was formerly married to X-actress Kissa Sins. They separated in 2019, but retain strong ties. Outside of porn, he enjoys hiking and yoga.
