Nobody's Ever Gonna Hurt You Again

Evelyn Claire is emptying the washing machine when she pulls out a dress that's been ruined by the machine. She starts panicking immediately. 'Oh, my god... No, please no! Oh no, she's gonna be SO MAD at me!' It's clear she's afraid of severe consequences for the dress being ruined. Alina Lopez peeks in and inquires what is wrong. Evelyn, who is in a panic, says, "I'm sorry the machine damaged your dress...I-I do not know what happened. I swear, it was an accidental accident!" Alina tries to calm Evelyn, saying it's really no big deal but as she takes a step towards her, Evelyn instinctively flinches away. It's clear that Alina's heart breaks for Evelyn, her expression empathetic. Alina avoids raising the volume of her voice to not scare Evelyn, who has clearly been emotionally traumatized. Alina quietly tries to assure Evelyn that everything's okay and she's not mad, until Evelyn relaxes and apologizes for pulling back. Alina silently offers a hug and Evelyn slowly cuddles into it. Alina asserts firmly and kindly that Evelyn is not stupid, nor that this was her fault. Alina goes on to say that she knows Evelyn's ex had a short temper... but Alina will NEVER EVER hurt Evelyn. Alina understands that it will take some time for Evelyn's recovery, but Alina is there to help her every step of way. Evelyn's reassurance is a powerful one. She insists that Alina has made her happy. The comforting kiss they share lingers, and leads to more. Alina will never let Evelyn be hurt again.
