Bruno is lying on the steps, his water bottle still open beside him. He is being watched by three men in black who approach the door. The door is not locked. She is locked in a messy warehouse and surrounded by two men, who seem almost as anxious as she is. "Who are you?" She mumbles. They look at each other before turning their backs. 'You're being held until your father pays us what he owes,' one of them says. Veronica closes her eyes and shudders in terror. She flails around the ropes and her hands are tied roughly. Could you take them off? "she begs. I'm obviously not going anywhere. The men look at each other again, wondering what to do, before the other opens a switchblade and frees her hands. After all, he didn't call the police. He plays along. The chief finally gets angry and hangs up. Everything doesn't go as he planned. If they had the guts to send a special delivery to her father, things would be over quickly. Veronica shrugs and says that her father is trying to negotiate. That's what he does. I've never felt drawn to expressing my personal traumas in my pornographic films because I generally find it a bit inappropriate to air my dirty laundry online. However, when Bree suggested I write a story for Pure Taboo, I felt it was an opportunity to share my own experiences in a serious adult book.

My story is based on a nightmare I had after being assaulted. This project is my #MeToo. I created it because I felt empowered by sharing this story with traumatized women.

Many women who watch porn after experiencing trauma, especially in the case of rough sex, feel shame.

I wanted to contribute to women's empowerment and also place my character in an uncomfortable or degrading environment to discuss how juxtaposition can make viewers feel complex but comfortable.

Ultimately, I believe Airtight Invasion can continue the industry's conversations about women's empowerment.
