ARTIFAMILY, which was started modestly by Bernard, became the first treatment center for victims of exploitation and emotional distress. As the scientist explains their story, the screen next to her displays various images of Bernard and the ARTIFAMILY Institute. Robert is visibly disoriented and anxious, and can only follow half of the story.
The scientist continues to explain his case, taking a moment to assess his reactions. Images of Robert's wife and smiling daughter appear on her screen as she talks about the accident. Robert looks ill and has to place his head between his knees. The scientist signals to another team member, who brings the man a silver can. Robert obediently drinks the silver can while the scientist continues to talk about her PTSD diagnosis and work-related recommendations.
