The Babysitting Job

The scene opens on Cassidy (18) as she walks home from school. She walks through the gate, a backpack slung over her shoulder, and picks up the mail on the porch. Rummaging through the envelopes, she discovers a flyer that says: BABYSITTER WANTED, PREFERRED WOMEN, NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY, GREAT FIRST JOB. Before she can read it, her mother is in the backyard. Excited, Cassidy runs to show her the flyer. Her mother urges her not to pay attention and encourages her to call the number. This is the first job she will need to be able to do to prepare herself for adulthood. Cassidy looks up and turns her head. The scene cuts to a man answering the phone. Cassidy asks a question about the flyer. In a quiet, soft voice, the man answers that he and his wife have a young son and are looking for a babysitter. He asks how old the girl is. She replies that she is 18. He purses his lips in dismay. Cassidy senses his hesitation and tells him that she is still in high school but she is responsible and knows how to take care of people. She won't let him and his wife down. She says all this and then gives her mother a knowing look. He smiles at her and invites her to come for a tryout on Friday. He will text her all the information as soon as he confirms with his wife. Cassidy hangs up and proudly tells her mother she has the job.
A few days later. Cassidy opens the door to be greeted by Mr. Bauer. He opens the door and Cassidy looks around. Bauer is very handsome and Cassidy can't help but feel a little shy. He invites Cassidy to join him in the living room. She asks in passing where Mrs. Bauer is. He explains that she has already left and will be back soon. They talk about work for a few minutes before Cassidy asks about the son ... how old is he? Where is he? He tells her that his son is already in bed in the hallway. He's not a good sleeper so she shouldn't try to wake him up. What she needs to do is guard the house while her son is resting. Cassidy finds this a little strange but her eyes widen when Mr. Bauer starts talking about his payment. He hands her an envelope and tells her that he likes to reward the girls he trusts as babysitters handsomely. She doesn't have to go out now, but he'll be leaving soon. Please don't go down the hall and disturb the baby while he is resting. Before leaving, he hands her the remote control and places it on the couch. She is shocked by his touch and looks down at her envelope. What an easy job! Throughout the afternoon, Cassidy watches television, lounging and getting distracted. The scene cuts to Cassidy looking in her refrigerator when she stops and thinks she hears something. The scene cuts to her trying to read a novel in the living room. She turns back to the hallway warily. The baby has not cried. The scene cuts to her in the bathroom. When she hears an unusual noise, she wipes her face, then abruptly stands up. Slipping out of the bathroom, she approaches the hallway. She calls for the baby and hears nothing. Slowly, she walks to the end of the hallway where there is a sign indicating a nursery. She reaches out and hears the sound of a muffler inside. The sound of breathing. She exhales a deep sigh and then opens the door.

However, Cassidy discovers that things are not what they seem when she enters the room. There is no nursery. There is no baby at rest. She is in the master bedroom and so is Mr. Bauer - naked and masturbating.
