The Weight of Infidelity

The scene opens on a morning when a married couple, John and Angie, are having sex in their kitchen. We watch them make sweaty, naked love in their kitchen until John thrusts himself deep into Angie's throat. He spits out his cum, and she stands up to wrap her arms around him. They look so happy. Angie heads to the freezer as they are finishing up and grabs some ice cream. John then stops. John asks her what she's doing, and she nonchalantly replies that she'd like something sweet. Angie laughs, protesting that it's just a little bit of ice cream, but John grabs the jar and puts it back in the freezer, closing the door. I'm serious, he says. "You don't want to gain weight. You still have so much to lose! Angie takes the spoon out of her mouth and her attitude changes. "It's okay, baby," she whispers. 'I have a body pump class on my lunch break and I'll go to the gym after work.' John takes the spoon from her hand and puts it in the dishwasher. 'I don't know how many times we have to go over this,' he says dryly. This is not a joke. This is for your own good! Angie backs away, covers herself. Angie sits at her computer with a small portion of her healthy lunch. She is having trouble concentrating and keeps looking at her desk drawer. She finally pulls out the drawer and finds a stash of candy bars and candy.
Take Angie to a public restroom. Angie is lying in a closed toilet and vomiting. She flushes and awkwardly exits as a co-worker enters, dressed in gym clothes, and asks her if she is ready to go to the push-ups. They leave after she smiles again and regains her cheerful personality.
Step back and go to John's house. He is pacing back and forth, looking at himself in the mirror and looking out the front window. Angie doesn't know that John left work early to visit Karen, the woman he had an affair with. Karen doesn't know that John is married. He receives a text from her saying she is two minutes away. John texts her back and asks if she bought the cupcakes. She replies in the affirmative. He tells her the door is open. As she enters, he waits at the door and loosens his tie. Karen is beautiful and voluptuous, with more curves than Angie. She is the exact opposite of what John wants Angie to be. It is only a few hours later. Angie walks in through the front door, still sweating and in her gym clothes. She wipes her face, stone cold, as the docile Karen enters the restaurant and approaches her. She asks Angie if she is John's wife and Angie nods, motioning for her to sit down. Karen apologizes profusely and tells Angie that she didn't know John was married. He described himself as an eater, looking for a partner. They had met six months earlier on an adult website. She thought it would be fun to try. Over the next few months, he became more and more obsessed with her weight, pushing her to get as fat as possible. He even promised her that he would only allow her to move in with him once she reached a certain weight. Karen looks distraught and betrayed as she confesses. Angie shakes her head in disbelief. That night, John comes home from work. He calls his wife as he enters the foyer. She does not answer. Confused, he turns around just as someone hits him.
John wakes up. He is now naked and has been tied to the chair in his master bedroom. He is encased in plastic. He looks up, shocked, to see his wife and mistress standing naked in front of him with knives. In a final POV shot, we see the two women approach him and kneel under the frame.
